Narcissistic Mortification returns with Destrudo Miasma - or in plain English: Stench of the Death Drive. After Anti-Abnormal Relations with the Pre-Deceased explored the path to healthy human relationships, Destrudo Miasma dives into darkest impulses that pulling us towards our own self-destruction.
The arrangement of drop-tuned solo guitar, wordless vocals, and artificial drums reveals itself in two parts: The first half, Destrudo Miasma, is a barrage of full-speed intensity, hairpin turns, and unhinged vocals. Its second half is one gargantuan doom epic titled MELT.
Destrudo Miasma grinds through 17 tracks in 14 minutes, and the album version of MELT clocks in at the same time.
